The Challenge: Future-Proofing a Landmark Office Asset

The Parnters of HollenPlus undertook a £5m building upgrade package for the Shipping Building, London, a multi-let office.

The project encompassed the refurbishment of entrance, reception, restaurant, creation of an occupier health suite, end of journey facilities, central plant replacement and BMS installation. The entire project was focused on re-positioning the asset, improving the energy efficiency of the building and improving the EPC rating.

15,000 sq.ft CAT A refurbishment, including full M&E replacement.

Turn-key 3,000 sq.ft. CAT B tenant fit-out, including meeting rooms, offices, kitchen and roof terrace. Scope included low carbon design consultancy, lease compliance and energy efficiency optimisation.
